Festa junina

There is no better way than a festa junina to inaugurate a new house!

Said and done, Silvia invited the lot to our house for a party on July 5! The lot came.

Festa junina is a typical Brazilian outdoor, country-style party for the whole family. There is plenty of food and drink and games and then more drinks...

A mesa de comida. Among other things we had bolo de fuba, torta de queijo, milho, cachorro quente, Tamarind candy, berry pie, ice cream and strawberries. Very nice!

"Put a blindfold on, enter the pool and find the small coin (authentic 1 Real coin from Brazil) among the plastic toys by following the advice from your team mates!".

"NO! TO THE RIGHT! UP, UP, UP!!! FIVE CM TO THE LEFT!!!".

The Irish Christmas caused a lot of laughs, among the spectators at least! Please note that the two Irish lads at the party did not recognize this game as particular Irish.
