In Japan

Ah, yes! I love Tokyo, it is crazy and organized at the same time. I went there for a week of meetings and workshops and managed to see some of the blocks around Shiodome area. Just behind the hotel there was a nice park and the harbour was just five minutes walking. I regret not taking time going to the famous fish market close by for dinner (or breakfast!) - maybe next time.

Back in Japan

Korean pork barbeque in a restaurant without ventilation! The food was good and the smelly clothes, as result, weren't ;-)

Queing for lunch, hot and tasty noodle soup for about five Euros was a good deal

Brazilian vacation (Dec '11 - Jan '12)

Yes! Four weeks of vacation in Brazil! We left Sweden on December 12, flew via Istanbul with Turkish Airlines (cheap and very good, however long trip) and landed in Guarulhos Int´l Airport at night, took a cab to the inlaws and slept for 12 hours straight. We stayed a couple of days with them, then rented a car and drove NW to my wife´s cousin´s farm in Guarantá with +2500 beef cows! We had a great week there with barbeques and pool parties. After that we needed some relaxation (eh?) and went to stay in a friend's beach house in Juquehy, close to Guarujá on the coast. On the 23rd we went back to São Paulo to celebrate Christmas and then continued to Rio de Janeiro to meet friends and celebrate New Year's Eve. Rio was nice. Nice and rainy. After a couple of days in SP we went back to Sweden on Jan 7.
