Sailing to Väntholmsviken

My friend Anders lives in the Philippines but is visiting Sweden and since he is really keen on sailing we decided to go out with the majestic sailing yacht Chupacabra. It was kind of cloudy when we set sail but the wind was good. We went to Väntholmsviken at Färingsö, north-west of Hässelby. There we stayed a copule of hours for lunch. As we let the anchor go the skies cleared a bit and the sun started shining on us.

Pyttipanna. Please note the chic and practical napkins on a roll behind the skillet...

The chef of Chupacabra served a classical Swedish Pyttipanna with beetroots and D'Elida´s, the world's best hot sauce. Coffee and cake for dessert. The wind was quite hard as we sailed home and we were making about 6-7 knots.

In the evening we met with Mattias and Henrik for dinner at restaurant Kungsholmen where I had the Osso Buco Milanese (very nice!) and creme brylée for dessert. Hubba hubba.
