Campos de Jordão

Gabriela, Silvia and I went to Campos de Jordão last Sunday. Campos de Jordão is located up in the mountains one hour by car northeast of São José dos Campos. The weather is cooler there and the locals work hard on making everybody feel like they are in some Swiss Alpine village: you can drink draft beer in big German-Swiss style beer glasses (the kind that looks like a boot), eat fondues and handmade choclate. The houses have the distinct Alpine feeling too, a lot of wood, high roofs and crossed planks on the walls. I did not see any cuckoo-clocks however.

The car ride to Campos de Jordão offers a lot of beautiful views of the Paraíba valley with its green fields with grazing cows. As one commence the ascent to the mountain village the vegetation gets denser and pine trees can be seen.

I do not know the altitude of the village but the weather is cooler. We had great weather and apart from strolling around for a couple of hours, we visited a small but pleasant amusement park and bought cools shades for everyone in the family.

Here are some photos from our trip:

Tjena broder, din tolkning av dogmatismen som fiende till sanningen var helt korrekt, så är det ju!

Nu har jag uppdaterat bloggen.

Vilka fina bilder på er (Gabriela som skrattar i bilen är ju helt suverän).
