Absolut Icebar Stockholm

Jag, Johan och Eddie hamnade på coolaste (bokstavligen) baren i Stockolm, nämligen Absolut Icebar på Nordic Sea Hotel. -5°C inne i baren året runt. All interiör, även dricksglasen är gjord i is från Torne Älv. Annorlunda, dyrt (180 spänn drinken) men ganska skoj tyckte jag. Det säljs endast vodka då öl och läsk fryser till is...

In Malaysia

I went to Kuala Lumpur on work. I did not see much though, apart from the office and a restaurant I missed the whole sightseeing thing due to severe jetlag, i.e. I slept through the whole Saturday and woke up at 22:30... Then I could not go back to sleep but sat up working, reading and zapping between boring Malaysian soap operas with three layers of subtitles (half the screen was blocked by text!) until breakfast was served at 07:00 Sunday morning.

I managed to take a taxi to the Petrona Towers on the Sunday at least and stumbled around like a character out of "The Living Dead" for a couple of hours then went back to the hotel for more "napping" until Monday morning when I flew back to Sweden.

Next time I go there I will stay longer and plan the travel better so that I do not end up with a jetlag from hell. I did not get to know KL but what I saw gave me a taste for more...

Sunway Spa & Resort Hotel in Petaling Jaya where I stayed. Very cheap. Very good.

Outside the towers a lot of people try to sell Rolex copies to tourists. Prices drop from 1000 to 100 Ringits in matter of minutes!
