In Tokyo

Wow! What an amazing place! I have heard so much about it but actually being here beats everything. Things are very different, most people know about the food and TV shows that can be quite bizarre but they drive on the left hand side of the road, toilet seats are electrically heated, they sell used female underware via vending machines on the street(!?) and most Japaneese do not speak English! People are very friendly and the public transportation employees bow for you when you pass (I would like seeing SL staff doing that in Stockholm, hehe).

In Abu Dhabi

First time in Abu Dhabi was OK. I caught a cold just before going there and therefore I spent all free time in the hotel. So what I can say about Abu Dhabi is that the hotel room was nice! And the cars, I must mention the cars - you see luxury cars everywhere! First time ever I saw a new Audi SUV as a taxi! You certainly travel in style down here!

Idag har det gått ett år precis...

...sedan du gick ur tiden, mamma. Eller som din sondotter uttrycker saken, "Vovo virou uma estrelinha!", farmor blev en stjärna i himlen! Jag önskar du vore här och kunde se hur barnbarnen växer och utvecklas. Det går i en rasande fart! Och nu har ju klanen utökats också! Men du får väl titta ner på oss från himlavalvet istället.
